Information for students
Basic information:
- the study stay can be realized at a foreign school with which DF JAMU has concluded a bilateral agreement,
- it is recommended to choose an institution related to the programme you are studying (recommendations by programme can be found in the“Partner institutions” section).
Length of stay:
- Long-term stay: 2-12 months (Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes), 24 months (long-term Master’s programme)
- Short stay: 5-30 days (only for PhD students, BIP participants and students falling under the conditions of inclusion)
- departure is conditional on the corresponding study results,
- The stay must be planned in such a way that it interferes as little as possible with the studies at the Faculty of Arts JAMU.
Pre-application procedure:
- consultation with the studio manager / supervisor (approval of the trip),
- Consultation of the choice of school and country at the Foreign Department of the Faculty of Arts of JAMU,
- consent to the processing of personal data in the JAMU IS,
- submitting an internal application in the ISOIS system .
Selection procedure:
- application deadlines are binding,
- trips are approved by the Dean’s College,
- results are sent to students by email.
Applying to a foreign school
After nomination by JAMU, the student sends the required documents (usually in English) to the foreign institution:
- Erasmus application form (host school form),
- cover letter,
- CV (in English),
- portfolio (in English),
- Transcript of Records (list of stamps in AJ confirmed by ZO DF),
- Online Learning Agreement (OLA) – to be completed in ISOIS after the application has been accepted by the DF OC.
The foreign school will then send:
- confirmation of acceptance/non-acceptance,
- acceptance letter with exact dates of stay,
- Confirmed Learning Agreement.

Pre-departure duties:
- delivery of the acceptance letter to the ZO DF JAMU,
- approval of an Individual Study Plan (ISP) – if the internship is not part of the study plan,
- taking the online language test (link will be sent by email),
- other duties.
No financial support can be paid without these steps being completed. Information about financial support (scholarship) here.
Extension of stay:
- approval of the studio manager is required,
- submitting an application to the Study Department of the Faculty of Arts of the JAMU (approved by the Dean),
- Benefits, year of study and study obligations are assessed,
- for acting studios, the stay at the LS 3rd year cannot be extended,
- the scholarship for the extended period is not automatic (it is dealt with in an addendum to the financial agreement).
Obligations upon return
No later than 1 month after the end of the stay:
- submit an internal final report,
- Consult with the studio manager for course recognition,
- to deliver the confirmation of course recognition to the Study Department,
- other duties.
Without submitting the documents, the stay cannot be recognised and you may be obliged to repay part or all of the scholarship.
Recognition of subjects
- DF JAMU recognizes all completed courses and ECTS in full,
- Courses without an equivalent are recognised as personal specialisation courses,
- for non-Erasmus+ placements, recognition is subject to prior written agreement with the head of the studio.

- the internship must be professionally related to the field of study,
- the trip is subject to the approval of the studio head / supervisor,
- it is necessary to plan your stay so that it does not interfere with your study obligations,

- consultation of administrative formalities at the Foreign Department of the Faculty of Arts JAMU,
- submitting an internal application through the ISOIS system,
- consent to the processing of personal data in the JAMU IS.

Documents before departure
Before signing the financial agreement, it is necessary to deliver:
- confirmation of acceptance for the internship (acceptance letter with exact dates),
- Learning Agreement for Traineeships (approved by all parties),
- An approved Individual Study Plan (if required),
- proof of travel medical insurance (including accident and liability insurance).

The financial agreement must be concluded at least 1 month before departure.
Extension of internship:
- approval of the studio manager is required,
- submitting an application to the Study Department of the Faculty of Arts of the JAMU (approved by the Dean),
- the usefulness of the internship and the student’s learning situation are assessed,
- the scholarship for the extended period is not automatic (it is dealt with in an addendum to the financial agreement).
Obligations upon return
No later than 1 month after the end of the traineeship you must:
- provide a Confirmation of Erasmus Study Period,
- provide a final evaluation/certification from the receiving organisation,
- submit an internal final report,
- Discuss with the head of the studio the recognition of the internship,
- other duties.
Without submitting the documents, the stay cannot be recognised and you may be obliged to repay part or all of the scholarship.
Recognition of internship:
- Recognition and possible crediting of credits takes place on the basis of prior agreement with the head of the studio,
- terms of recognition must be agreed before departure,
- if the internship is part of the study plan as a compulsory subject, the recognition is governed by the study plan of the field of study.
Graduate internship
- the internship must be related to your degree,
- you must apply while you are still studying (before you graduate),
- the internship itself takes place after graduation,
- the duration of the traineeship is governed by the Erasmus+ rules.
Conditions of participation:
- the student must be selected in a selection procedure before graduation,
- all administrative formalities must be completed before departure,
- the graduate no longer has student status during the traineeship, but is subject to the Erasmus+ conditions.
Meeting all deadlines is essential – you cannot apply after graduation.
