Lifelong learning

At present, the Faculty of Music provides tuition in all accredited disciplines for citizens of the Czech Republic, while foreign students are offered tuition in percussion, flute, oboe, clarinet, French horn, trumpet, violin, viola, cello, double bass, piano, organ, harpsichord, composition and conducting of choir and orchestra.

Trainees usually take a one- or two-semester course, where additional subjects to the main course are offered in a total of 8 lessons (45 min.) per week.

As part of lifelong learning, the Theatre Faculty of JAMU organises various courses and workshops. Every academic year, the faculty hosts University of the Third Age (U3V).

From AR 2019/2020 the faculty also organises a programme #buďjamákwhich is designed for students between 15 and 19 years old. The #buďjamák programme is organised in cooperation with the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University and is financially supported by the South Moravian Region.

Methodological Assistance Centre

A separate central workplace that unifies methodological assistance provided or mediated to employees, students and prospective students. The aim is to ensure the promotion of equal opportunities for career development and to support the introduction of new management tools for the institution by providing assistance or training.
