JAMU Publishing House

A separate publishing house (until August 2017 under the name of the JAMU Editing Centre) has existed at the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts since 2000. Its mission is to publish study materials (scripts) for the school’s students and to create quality conditions for the publishing activities of JAMU teachers. It publishes academic, educational and professional publications on the history and theory of music, theatre, stage design, drama education, management, radio and television and other related fields.

He publishes conference proceedings, dictionaries, foreign language terminology, methodological manuals, scripts and essays; he does not shy away from translation titles. Some publications, especially those on musicology and conference proceedings, are also published in English. The publishing house produces around 10 titles a year, which are completely edited here, and it also uses the services of external printers.
