Any JAMU student who:

  • is enrolled in an accredited study programme,
  • has fulfilled his/her study obligations towards JAMU,
  • has sufficient language skills appropriate to the language of instruction at the host institution,
  • is selected in the selection process of his faculty.

Conditions:

  • you have to go through an internal selection process,
  • min. 3 ECTS (for short-term mobility)
  • trip only to a partner institution of JAMU (their current list is published on the faculty website).

For short-term mobilities (Combined Intensive Programmes – BIP), first-year students can also apply.

  1. Long-term study stay – 2-12 months (non-continuing Master’s programme – 24 months)
  2. short-term study stay (BIP, doctoral mobility) – 5-30 days

The selection procedures are usually:

  • in winter/spring for the following academic year,
  • additional rounds may be announced in the autumn (if places remain available for the summer semester).

Follow the current challenges of your faculty and information from the JAMU Foreign Department:

How it works:

  • The selection procedure is organised by individual faculties of JAMU,
  • Faculties set their own deadlines and procedures (applications, interviews, cover letters, etc.),
  • The approval of the application is decided by the Dean’s College on the basis of a proposal from the Faculty Committee, which assesses applications on the basis of academic performance, motivation and language skills.

The current conditions and deadlines can always be found on the website of your faculty or at the Erasmus Faculty Coordinator:

Within JAMU:

  • internal application for the selection procedure in the ISOIS system ,
    • annexes according to the faculty specification,
  • a motivation letter and a structured CV (in English or a foreign language),
  • a transcript of records (Transcript of records),
  • Online Learning Agreement (to be completed in the ISOIS system and made available to you by the faculty coordinator).

The faculty and the foreign school may also set other specific requirements (e.g. art portfolio, recordings, teacher recommendations, etc.). You can always find the current requirements on your faculty’s website:

From the foreign school you will receive:

  • acceptance letter with exact dates of stay.

Next you’ll be:

  • conclude a Learning Agreement in the ISOIS system (made available to you by the faculty coordinator),
  • apply for an ISP (Individual Study Plan),
  • signing the participation (grant) contract (the grant contract is concluded at the JAMU Rector’s Office with the institutional coordinator, it is necessary to arrange a meeting at least 4 days in advance).
    • take out insurance for the entire duration of your stay before signing the contract:
      • insurance must include: accident insurance, medical expenses insurance and liability insurance,
    • send the acceptance letter and the mutually signed Learning Agreement to the Institutional Coordinator/Coordinator,
    • check the data in the JAMU IS (including the bank account), according to which the contract will be created,
      • a change of bank account can be notified at least one week before signing the contract,
      • euro accounts can be used except for Revolut.

You can always find the specific conditions on your faculty’s website or with the Erasmus Faculty Coordinator:

During mobility

You may encounter minor changes or administrative adjustments during your stay – this is perfectly normal. The important thing is just to communicate everything with your faculty and the JAMU Foreign Office in time.

  • if the subjects or their scope change, you need to update the Learning Agreement (section During the Mobility) and have it confirmed by both the receiving and sending institution,
  • keep up to date with information from your host university – for example, about exams, attendance certificates or changes to your timetable,
  • Keep in contact with your faculty coordinator to ensure that courses are recognized upon your return,
  • if your stay is extended or shortened, inform the coordinator as soon as possible – an early update of the mobility duration is also necessary for the scholarship (but at least one month before the end of the stay).

  • Approval of the head of the department/studio is required,
  • submitting an application to the Study Department of your faculty (approved by the Dean),
  • Benefits, year of study and study obligations are assessed,
  • the scholarship for the extended period is not automatic (it is dealt with in an addendum to the financial agreement),
  • have a new acceptance letter for the extended period issued by the host institution,
  • then renew your insurance and modify the Online Learning Agreement in coordination with the faculty coordinator/coordinator for the semester being renewed,
  • as a last step, you need to prepare and then sign an amendment to the contract for the extended period (write to the institutional coordinator/coordinator).

The end of mobility

An electronic form that you must fill in at the end of your stay. It will be sent to your school email, but beware, sometimes it looks like spam!:

EU Survey e-mail

A certificate of completion of courses and credits from the partner university, which you should receive at the end of your stay and which is part of the compulsory documents for recognition of your stay. It is the basis for the recognition of the courses you have taken abroad.

Document confirming the actual length of stay (from-to, must match the Learning Agreement). It is part of the mandatory documents for recognition of the stay and award of the grant amount.

In case of extraordinary increases in the grant (inclusion, green travel, etc.), all relevant documents needed to close the grant must be submitted to the Institutional Coordinator/Coordinator within 30 days of the end of the grant.

  • is conducted at the faculty level according to the Transcript of Records and Learning Agreement,
  • Contact your Study Department and the Head of Department/Studio.
