Evaluation
In 2020, the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts conducted an external quality assessment, which was linked to the OP VVV (Operational Programme Research, Development, Education) project of the Ministry of Education, Youth, Sports and Sports of the Czech Republic, and for which JAMU received project funding.
The external evaluation was carried out at the Faculty of Music and Theatre of JAMU by the MusiQuE organisation, which managed the entire evaluation. However, the individual faculties were evaluated by expert teams from different agencies – HF agency MusiQuE / DF agency EQ-Arts. The evaluation focused on assessing the creative, educational and artistic activities and quality systems used at both faculties.
The evaluation report of the Faculty of Music is based both on the Faculty of Music’s own self-evaluation report and on a visit by representatives of the MusiQuE agency who conducted a local evaluation at the Faculty of Music. On the basis of this data, analyses of the current status of individual parts of the evaluation report were compiled, including recommendations aimed at improving the quality system at the HF JAMU.
