JAMU Research Development Fund
(FRVČ) financially supports projects of JAMU academic staff that contribute to the development of JAMU through scientific, research, development or innovation activities.
Projects focused on the researcher’s own scientific, research, development or innovation activities are supported ,
The output of the projects must be a professional publication (e.g. a monograph, an article in a professional journal, a paper in the proceedings of a conference). Projects are also supported. artistic research projects are supportedwhose output is a work of art and documentation and reflection on its creation.
The project competition is announced each year by 30 September and the deadline for submission of project proposals is 31 December of the year preceding the year of the project start.
The projects can be one to three years long and each year approximately CZK 1.5 million is allocated from the JAMU budget to support the implementation of the projects. CZK.
When assessing projects, their professional level, feasibility, topicality (especially the possibility of publishing the result in an impacted or peer-reviewed journal, or in book form), financial efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and the degree of influence on the development of scientific, research, development or innovation activities of JAMU are evaluated. Project proposals are evaluated by The FRVČ Projects Committee.

Electronic submission of the project application
Through the “Submit project application” button, the researcher will be redirected to the JAMU Information System office. Here the researcher will click on “Submit a new application on my behalf”. From the available agendas, he/she should select the agenda “Project applications”, where he/she will upload the document with his/her application and save it. This way the project is submitted to the relevant managers for processing.
You can download the relevant application form above. A document in .docx format (word document) is uploaded to the IS and does not need to be signed. By submitting via the investigator’s UČO, this document is considered signed.
