Meeting with applicants for study
The meeting with applicants is a space for all those who are serious about studying at the Theatre Faculty – and want to know specifically what awaits them. Do you want to know what the entrance exams really look like? What will be asked of you? How to prepare? And what comes after that?
Unlike the Open Day, our main focus here is onthe entrance exams and the structure of the studies. You will meet directly with the teachers of each specialisation, whom you can ask about, for example:
- the form of the entrance examination,
- talent test requirements,
- the form of the portfolio (for relevant disciplines),
- curricula and specific subjects
- time-consuming studies,
- linking practice and teaching,
- opportunities for foreign trips,
- graduate employment,
- … and anything else you can think of!
Meetings with applicants for the 2026/27 academic year will take place 17 October 2026 at 10.00at the premises of the Theatre Faculty of JAMU (Mozartova 1).
Open Day
Are you thinking about studying at the JAMU Theatre Faculty and want to take a look behind the scenes? Come to the Open Day and experience the faculty as it is known to those who are currently studying here!
The Open Day at JAMU is not just about information from leaflets. It’s all about meeting, asking questions and just finding out how things work. And you can also get an idea of life in Brno!
The programme is in the spirit of “students to students” – you have the opportunity to speak directly with current students across specialisations and find out what studying at JAMU looks like from their perspective. In addition to chatting with students and introducing the study programmes, you can also enjoy an interactive faculty walk led by the Theatre and Education Studio and much more.
Unlike the autumn “Meet the Applicants”, which focuses more on the admissions process, the spring Open Day is all about the feeling – finding out if this is the environment for you. And what to ask? Anything. From teaching to course requirements to daily life at the college.
The next Open Day is planned for spring 2027.
