PRICES

MAJOR AWARDS

Financial awards are announced for each discipline separately:

1st prize: 100 000 CZK

2nd price: 70 000 CZK

3rd price: 40 000 CZK

These financial amounts are gross, i.e. that the tax must be deducted from them if necessary. any other fees according to the laws and regulations in force in the Czech Republic.

The juries reserve the right not to award individual prizes or to distribute them in accordance with statutes of the competition.

All first, second and third prize winners are entitled to the title “Laureate of the International Leoš Janáček Competition in Brno” and receive diplomas with their name, title and prize level. Winners of honorary mentions and other prizes and awards will also receive diplomas, but are not entitled to the title of laureate.

SPECIAL PRIZES FOR TUBA

Special prices are under negotiation.

SPECIAL PRIZES FOR HORN

Honoured concert performance as part of the “International Music Festival For the Treasures of Broumov Region 2027”.

The prize will be awarded to the selected laureate based on the decision of the festival director. The prize is provided by the competition partner International Music Festival For the Treasures of Broumov Region.

SPECIAL PRIZES FOR BOTH DISCIPLINES

Concert of the best Czech participant of the competition within the event “Days of Young Performers, Brno 2027”.

The prize is provided by the competition partner Moravian Composers Club.

Sheet music from the production of the music publishing house Bärenreiter Praha for the best participant of the competition.

The prize is provided by the competition partner Bärenreiter Praha s.r.o. – music publishing house.

Other special prices are under negotiation.

The third rounds in both disciplines will take place in Besední dom in Brno on 20 September 2026 in cooperation with Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Robert Kružík.
