Commission for Uniform Visual Style of JAMU

An advisory body to the Rector that oversees the consistency of the visual identity of JAMU across all parts of the University. Its task is to ensure that the elements of the visual style – especially the logotype, colour scheme, typography and layout of materials – are used uniformly, correctly and in accordance with the current logo manual. She is also responsible for the management and use of the CANVA graphic tool and all the templates set up in it.

JVS Directive

The Commission specifically deals with:

  • by interpreting the rules of the JAMU visual style,
  • consultation on non-standard use of visual elements,
  • approving exceptions to the use of the uniform style,
  • considering proposals for its modification and supplementation,
  • supervising the implementation of visual identity in JAMU materials (printed, digital, promotional and presentation).

If you have a suggestion or comment on the uniform visual style of JAMU, you can contact the committee. Suggestions may relate to:

  • the need for an exception when using the logomanual,
  • a proposal to modify the logomanual,
  • highlighting inconsistencies in practice (e.g. incorrect use of a logo),
  • query to apply the visual style in a specific material type.

Please state in your submission:

  1. a proposal for a solution, if you have one.
  2. what the suggestion or question is about,
  3. the context in which the problem occurred (e.g. document type, action, platform),

  • students and employees of JAMU.
