Drama student Max Nowotarski won three awards at the 14th Forum of Young Directors (Forum Młodej Reżyserii). His award-winning performance was realized during his study stay at the Akademia Sztuk Teatralnych im. Stanislaw Wyspiański in Krakow as part of the Erasmus programme.

Natálie Bočková, a 3rd year student of Theatre Dramaturgy, won the first prize at the Evald Schorm Awards with her play So Much Tenderness. The third place (together with other prize winners) went to Barbora Rokytová, a 1st year student of Theatre and Education for the Deaf, with her play Nějak vás niestíhám, with which she also took 3rd place in the International Drama Competition.
Arnošt Hašek, a second year drama student, won the Havel Necklaces competition.
Barbora Šimová, a fourth-year physical theatre student, won the Marta Award of the International Theatre Schools Festival SETKÁNÍ/ENCOUNTER in the actress category.
prof. Mgr. Petr Oslzlý received the Karel Kramář Medal from Prime Minister Fiala at the Prague Castle during the celebrations of the anniversary of the Velvet Revolution. He was awarded for his brave civic attitudes during the communist dictatorship and for the development of civil society.

Theatrum.online, a web-based multimedia publication-textbook on theatre, edited by Kateřina Jebavá, and Jitka Vrbková’s publication Theatre actor-specific: Down Syndrome as a theatrical stylization, both coincidentally the results of applied research projects supported by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic, have been nominated for the Divadelní noviny 2024 Awards in the category of Publication Achievement in the field of theatre.
Pavel Jirásek’ s publication The Puppet between Theatre, Film and Television, produced with the support of the Theatre Faculty of JAMU, won the main prize of the General Reader competition of the Masaryk University Book Prize in Brno and the second prize in the Most Beautiful Czech Book of 2023 competition in the field of the Prize for Outstanding Printing (the competition is organised by the Museum of Literature together with the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic).

Samuel Gonda, a 3rd year student of Musical Acting, won the male actor award at the Dream Factory festival in Ostrava.
Robin Mayer, a 3rd year student of Radio and Television Dramaturgy and Screenwriting won 3rd place in the Documentary category at the Prix Bohemia Radio competition.
Tereza Reková won 1st place in the Documentary category at the Prix Bohemia Radio competition.
Zoja Mikotová received the Award of the Ministry of Culture for her contribution in the field of theatre, for developing a distinctive poetics of poetic theatre based on movement, wit and musicality, and for her artistic and pedagogical efforts to connect the world of the deaf and hearing.

At the International Festival of Theatre Schools SETKÁNÍ/ENCOUNTER, Daniel Gajdoš was awarded the Marta prize by the festival jury and the festival director Michal Zetel’s award was given to Barbora Svorová, head of the Promotion section of this year’s festival.
Jitka Vrbková won the 1st Václav Königsmark Prize in the dissertation category.

The winner of the Thalia Award for 2020 is Petr Štěpán for his outstanding performance as Satan in the production Ztracený ráj (Report on Man) directed by Dod Gombár and dramaturgy by Miroslav Ondra.
Eva Jelínková was awarded the SENIOR PRIX 2020 for her long-standing artistic activity by the LIFE OF THE ARTIST FOUNDATION.
Monika Řeháková , a student of the Master’s programme in Audiovisual Production and Theatre, was awarded in the Czech Press Photo competition in the category CANON AWARD (Single Winner).
Nikola Minářová, a student of Audiovisual Production and Theatre, won 2nd place in the Czech Theatre Photography 2020 competition in the student category “free work with theatrical themes” with her photographs from the productions Nivó (Studio Marta 2019) and Scheherazade (When the King is Not at Home) (Studio Marta 2019).
Vendula Hlaváčková, a student of Audiovisual Production and Theatre, won 3rd place in the Czech Theatre Photography 2020 competition in the student category “free work with theatrical themes” for her photographs from the production Najednou tady prostě byl ( The Theatre Faculty of JAMU 2019).
The 1st prize of the Evald Schorm 2020 Prize went to Tereza Agelová, a student of the Theatre and Education Studio, and Marie Mlatečková, a student of Theatre Dramaturgy, for their original play asi.milování, while the 2nd prize also went to Tereza Agelová for her original play Dvě čárky.
2019
The award for Imagination in the Student Exhibition of the Prague Quadrennial 2019 went to students Anna Chrtková, Jan Matýsek and Andrea Dudková for their project Prague is not the Czech Republic.
2nd place The Evald Schorm Prize was awarded to Tereza Agelová, a student of Theatre Dramaturgy and Theatre and Education, for her original play Like You, Mom and Štěpán Vranešic, a student of Radio and Television Dramaturgy and Screenwriting, for his original play The Indian Princess.

At the first global student film festival GUFA in Hong Kong, students Jiří Karmasín, Paulína Ščepková, Michaela Suchá, Pavla Kopřivová won the award among the five best scripts in the category of unrealized films for the film JA-PA – ; this film was also among the final twenty out of a total of 1800.
Petr Chodura, a student of Audiovisual Production and Theatre, received an honorable mention in the 2018 Theatre Photography Showcase.

The project of the International Festival of Theatre Schools SETKÁNÍ/ENCOUNTER 2013 became the winner of the competition for the best student and non-profit project 2013, announced by the Society for Project Management, the guarantor of project management in the Czech Republic.
Festival “Under the sun” (Šiauliai, Lithuania, May 2013) awarded 1st prize for the best production Metamorphosis and the Best Actress Award for Tereza Slavkovska, the production under the direction of doc. Oxana Smilkova.
Martin Sládeček, a student of the Master’s degree in Theatre Dramaturgy, won the 1st prize of the 2013 Ewald Schorm Prize for his dramatisation of Thomas Mann’s novel Confessions of a Hochstapler Felix Krull and its translation from German.

Ivan Buraj won the prize for the most intelligent production and the special jury prize for the direction of Prince of Homburg at the International Festival of Theatre Schools Istropolitana Project’12 in Bratislava.
The 2nd prize of the 2012 Ewald Schorm Prize was awarded to Jan Krupa for his translation of Philippe Minyana’s Little Girl in the Deep Forest.
