JAMU has introduced Directive No. 15/2023 LJ, on the internal reporting system, the JAMU internal reporting system (hereinafter referred to as “VOS”) within the meaning of Act No. 171/2023 Coll., on the protection of whistleblowers (hereinafter referred to as the “Whistleblower Protection Act”) and Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2019/1937 of October 23, 2019, on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law.
The report must contain the first name, last name, and date of birth, or other information from which the identity of the reporting person can be deduced. The report does not have to contain the information specified in the first sentence if it was submitted by a person whose identity is known to the relevant person or authorized employee of the Ministry of Justice (hereinafter referred to as “the Ministry”). Anonymous reports and responses to them shall not be accepted.
JAMU encourages whistleblowers to report possible illegal conduct through the VOS if the violation can be effectively addressed by JAMU and if the whistleblower believes that there is no risk of retaliation. Under the conditions set out by law, the whistleblower enjoys protection and JAMU is given the opportunity to take prompt and effective remedial action by adopting measures.
Notifications may be submitted to VOS in writing.
Notifications can be made to VOS verbally by calling the telephone number of the relevant person or substitute relevant person; see below for telephone contacts.

Please note that the telephone and email contacts for designated persons are not intended for submitting reports, but for any questions regarding the submission of reports and communication after the report has been submitted.
JAMU excludes the acceptance of reports from persons who do not perform work or other similar activities for JAMU pursuant to Section 2(3)(a), (b), (h), or (i) of the Whistleblower Protection Act.
If the whistleblower has expressly requested the relevant person not to notify them of the receipt of the report, the whistleblower will not be notified of the extension of the deadline for assessing the merits of the report and the reasons for the extension, nor of the measures taken, unless the whistleblower expressly requests that this be done.
