Quality assessment

Essential information

The aim of the quality assurance system is to develop the quality of educational, artistic, and other creative and related activities, thereby contributing to the fulfillment of the strategic goals and expectations of various stakeholders. The aim is also to regularly evaluate the outputs of all activities, especially in comparison with domestic and foreign universities and other external entities, and to use the evaluation outputs to improve and develop JAMU. The main stakeholders of JAMU are applicants, students, employees, graduates, employers, private, public, and non-profit institutions (both domestic and foreign), and, in a broader sense, the general public, the state, and society.

Quality assurance in educational, creative, and related activities refers to the process of setting goals, choosing appropriate methods to achieve those goals, achieving the goals, and reflecting on the need for improvement. The quality assurance system as a whole has four basic phases: planning, implementation, evaluation, and improvement. Quality assurance is based on the cyclical repetition of interrelated activities at appropriate intervals. Quality evaluation is an integral part of the quality assurance system and is based on comparing the results achieved with the set goals, monitoring the fulfillment of the requirements and expectations of interested parties, and monitoring the fulfillment of basic standards aimed at improvement.
